
Our Société Générale retail banking network in France launched a new ad campaign in April 2009 in the media and its branches that confirms its vision of banking through the slogan “We stand by you ".
In a climate where the image of banks has taken a serious blow, the aim of this campaign is to focus on the strength of the relationship between the customers and their financial advisors, via genuine customer testimonies and original take on the commitment of financial advisors.
The different TV, Internet, press and poster messages combine to form a tone of authenticity, grounded in “real life”.
For Jean Bourdoncle, the Head of brand strategy, “this positioning based on a strong commitment to our clients, and carried by the slogan “We stand by you” has come into its own during a difficult period when the strength of our customer relations, which have been established over time, has helped the Bank weather the current storm.
Professionalism and commitment to clients are the specificities of all our businesses. This is why “We stand by you” became the Group’s corporate slogan at the end of 2008.
As was the case with the Bankers’ Stories campaign in November 2008 which launched this new corporate stance, all communication by the our businesses in 2009 will be signed “We stand by you.”
