And what if your bank could also provide tutoring, gardening and childcare? In order to meet a growing demand from individual customer, we have decided to offer personal services.
Under the Borloo act of July 2005, all individual customer can contact companies approved by the Agence nationale des services à la personne to take advantage of one or several home assistance services from a total offer of twenty (concerning the home, the home environment, personal comfort, children and the elderly.)
The customer can choose the means of payment for the services and subsequently obtain a reduction or a 50% income tax credit (under certain conditions) on the expense incurred.
Creating tighter links with our customers
Our way of tightening links has been to offer a fully integrated service. The customer has a single contact for information, invoicing and finding the best service. This sales approach provides a genuine competitive advantage as it shows Société Générale’s commitment to taking full responsibility of its customers. To this end, our retail banking arm has signed a partnership with SD SAP, a specialised personal services platform.
Société Générale offers six of the twenty personal services cited in the Borloo act:
• housework and maintenance;
• basic gardening;
• basic DIY called “hommes toutes mains” or ‘handyman’;
• tutoring;
• IT and Internet assistance;
• child care.
We are on hand to help you in your day-today routine and to meet your requirements.
