Margarita Kucherenko graduated from D. Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology in Russia with a specialisation in processing engineering. Margarita also has a post graduate degree from the All-Russian Distance Institute of Finance and Economics (specialisation in economics). Margarita has worked in the banking sector since 1998, at Progress bank, Volga-Vyatka Prominbank, Menatep St Petersburg, KMB Bank and BSGV, progressing from the post of economist to general director of a regional group.
In 2005 Margarita Kucherenko was appointed head of the representative office of Bank Societe Generale Vostok (BSGV) in Nizhny Novgorod, which was later turned into a regional group. In 2007 Margarita was ranked among top 5 best bankers of the region (Delovoy Kvartal magazine). After the successful development of the business in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Margarita was transferred to BSGV headquarters in Moscow and appointed Co-director of the Network and Business Development Division. In August 2009, Margarita Kucherenko became Director of the division.

Having worked their way to the top, they will share their vision of a woman’s role within the company, how to make change happen and some of the hurdles they have encountered along the way, and will also talk about trying to balance life at home and at work.
