Concerts for a young public and schools

Les Concerts du Mercredi (Wednesday Concerts) have been organised and led by Marianne Vourch since 2002. The target audience is the young public and schools. Each concert offers the public a programme from the chamber music repertoire, chosen to enable children to discover and appreciate works that are not, on the face of it, specifically intended for youngsters, enabling them to discover their richness.

Through commentaries illustrated with sound examples and anecdotes, the children get their bearings so they can prepare to listen to and appreciate the programme offered. In addition, they are given a questionnaire in their programme and they can fill this in during the concert. Through its riddles, they discover the different examples that are proposed. The questionnaires are dropped into an urn as they leave the concert and the first having answered correctly can win a disc published by  Les Editions Accord, "Le Petit Ménestrel".

There are two concerts on the same Wednesday, at 14:30 and 16:30
