My vision of e-recruitment By Franck La Pinta

I have spent the last two years and more working on employer branding and HR marketing. In this time there has been a radical change in candidates’ behaviour, as web 2.0 has rewritten the rules for marketing, communication, corporate organisation and recruitment. Faced with marketing 2.0, communication 2.0, business 2.0 and now HR 2.0, companies have had no other choice but to adapt, take on board these new tools, modify some of their methods and take a new look at their target populations, be they internal or external. Companies must also understand that discussion means that they are no longer self-appointed experts in these fields. As a result, we have added to our indispensable recruitment sites by encouraging conversation and exchanges on existing or ad hoc platforms. For example, we have launched a Web TV about HR and a blog about disability in the workplace. We also have several Twitter accounts and are present on Facebook; pages on LinkedIn and Viadéo will also be launched soon.
In an interview with Jean-Christophe Anna, a consultant for APEC and the man behind the blog Job2-0.com, I examine the three main trends I see for e-recruitment, that some are already calling recruitment 3.0:
1. increased involvement of non-HR employees in sourcing,
2. a closer pre-recruitment relationship between candidates and companies,
3. greater transparency in the recruitment process for both parties.
You can read the interview here (in French).

Please feel free to ask questions and leave comments and suggestions either here or on Jean Christophe’s blog. It is also worth spending some time on his blog, which features contributions from a host of HR and recruitment experts.

I look forward to hearing from you!
